About the event

Out of the Debris. Simon Barraclough, Isobel Dixon and Chris McCabe are writers and performers who push the boundaries, extending the possibilities of poetry.
After a sell-out performance of Chris McCabe’s Shad Thames, Broken Wharf at the London Word Festival and packed audiences at the BFI, Whitechapel, Latitude and StAnza for Simon Barraclough’s Psycho Poetica (which included McCabe and Dixon), the three combined poetic forces again in 2012. They were joined by Oli Barrett of Bleeding Heart Narrative, who composed music for both previous projects, and Jack Wake-Walker who made the Shad Thames film. The creative outcome was the BFI’s full-house premiere of The Debris Field–Salvaging the Titanic in Word, Sound and Image in April 2012. Tickets £8, £6 adv, student or concs.
