Owen Sheers at the Ledbury Poetry Festival. In Afghanistan when a man is blown up next to you he is referred to as Pink Mist. This is the title of a five-part dramatic poem by Owen Sheers, which draws inspiration from Homer and the medieval Welsh poem Y Gododdin as well as from interviews with, and research on, current and ex-service men.
