Poem introduction

And now 'Frost at Midnight', which is my favourite Coleridge poem, I think a masterpiece of contemplation, of intensity and of poetic structure. This is extraordinary in the way it comes full circle via, as once or twice in this kind of poem of Coleridge, his baby. I think it almost follows the rhythm of thought somehow, the ministry of frost seems to do that in a quite remarkable way.
