Poem introduction

In 1904 my grandfather was to meet my grandmother in Paris: my grandfather an Englishman from Rochester, my grandmother a Parisian dancer with the Folies Bergere. And Grandad came over, fell for my Grandma, and this is a song he might have sung to her after having seen her dance a few times and knowing that she was the woman for him.
